Apparently going stir-crazy at Kensington Palace (one can only play so many hands of canasta with
the Queen) while waiting for the arrival of her second child, a due-any-second-now
Kate Middleton hit her local shops for a bit of last-minute baby prep.
The Duchess of Cambridge popped down to her local high street (Kensington, if you’re wondering) to grab a few more things for the royal nursery at Zara. Mrs Windsor’s home haul included white baskets and some gingham hangers, with some salad servers popped in for good measure. She also stocked up on essentials for George (remember that guy?), including some picnic tumblers. The real shopaholic in the family though? Father William, who dropped 800 GBP on shirts and jeans at the department store Peter Jones on Wednesday. Way to spend those nervous feelings dude.
