by : Georgia Nicols- Dec 20th, 2010
(Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)
This is a hugely powerful time for you for many reasons. To begin with, Pluto is in your sign now for the first time since the 1700s. December Capricorns have already felt this energy and will continue to do so this year: It might catapult you out of a relationship or help you lose weight. Capricorns born during the first 10 days of January will likely feel this energy now and certainly up until 2016. Later Capricorns will experience this from 2016 to 2024. The next few years are going to be your time of harvest. Where you planted well, you will succeed. Where you cut corners, you will see this as well. This is a very good year for real-estate deals and family relationships, so stock the fridge and invite the gang over.
(Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)
Many of you are swinging big financial deals. At least, you are boosting your earnings, coming up with new money-making ideas or leaping into self-employment. You have nothing to fear because since 1999—and most definitely since 2005—you’ve been shooting for your dreams. Now you’re seriously preparing for this year—and perhaps even the next. Travel, take courses, study and do whatever you can to be performance- ready when your hour arrives, which will be around 2012 to 2015. Why not make the most of opportunities at hand? You enter this year with increased optimism. Relationships with siblings and relatives will improve greatly. There’s much to look forward to. Life will flow much more easily now.
(Feb. 19 – March 20)
It has been a curious year for you: Lucky Jupiter has been in Pisces, which is fortunate for you, but stern Saturn has been stirring up trouble with partnerships, shared property, insurance matters, debt, taxes and all the goodies you would like to get from others but can’t because the well is dry. Nonetheless, one influence doesn’t cancel out the other—they both exist. Jupiter continues to be in your sign until summer, blessing you with good fortune and increasing your confidence. But challenges with partners and a loss of support remain. Fortunately, by summer, you have a chance to earn more money. And by winter, you should be laughing all the way to the bank: It’s your best chance to boost your income since 1999. Keep the faith!
ARIES (March 21 – April 19)
For those of you born in March, Pluto is at the top of your chart, radically changing your life direction from 2009 to 2012. From 2012 to 2015, Pluto affects those born from April 1 to 7: This heavy-duty influence continues until 2024, slowly affecting those born later. Right now, all Aries have enormous good fortune during the first six months of 2011 because lucky Jupiter is in your sign for the first half of the year. This will beautifully boost your confidence and poise, and all Aries will blossom. The last time Jupiter helped you out like this was last summer, as well as in 1999 and 1987. You need this perk because relationships are challenging this year and next. But you’ve got the baton for six months, so be a winner.
(April 20 – May 20)
You’re busting your buns right now: This is your time for hard work because you’ve been out of the gate and running since 1999. Of course, looking back, you virtually reinvented yourself from 1998 to 2005. It’s a totally different scene now, though. That is why, in part, you’re determined to prove to others what you can really do at this point in your life. For the past decade, it has been such turmoil dealing with shared property, inheritances, taxes, debt and anything you own jointly with others. Now you’re enjoying lots of popularity, and you like it. Everyone loves you! A group, or someone you meet in a group setting, might really benefit you in 2011, but for this to last, what you do should help others as well as yourself. It’s a two-way street— a mutually beneficial two-way street.
(May 21 – June 20)
Since 2001, you have been striving to figure out who you are, where you should live and what you should do. Recently, you have been working hard to solidify your home base. Since this has been a strong focus for the past few years, you’re trying to figure out what you really want to be when you grow up. (Not that Geminis ever really grow up—you know how to fake it.) Many of you have increased responsibilities with children. You are empowered because lucky Jupiter is dancing with unpredictable Uranus at the top of your chart, which can literally bring you overnight fame. Naturally, not everyone is going to be famous (even for 15 minutes), but you can make a name for yourself at this time. Later, as 2011 unfolds, your popularity will soar and you’ll be saying “My dance card is full.”
(June 21 – July 22)
Those of you who were born in June have undergone tremendous changes in relationships: Some have ended, but all were transformed in some way. This is because Pluto is opposite you for the first and only time in your life. Pluto will oppose Cancer until 2024, moving slowly through the degrees. When it directly opposes the degree of your sign (a two-year window), power struggles in partnerships take place. It’s tough, and it makes you ambitious and ruthless. From 2011 to 2016, those who were born from July 1 to July 10 will feel this strongly. This year, you’re determined to secure your home base. You want a home where you feel safe. Surprise travel plans and educational opportunities might trigger lovely career opportunities in 2011. Focus on your successes because they will only increase from here on.
(July 23 – Aug. 22)
This is a time of flux, with residential moves or job changes coming your way. This fluctuating influence will hover for two or three years—that’s because over the next 12 years, Pluto will slowly change your job and how you do it. Pluto likes to make things better. All Leos should be health conscious in the next decade. Don’t trash your body, don’t overwork yourself (you’re very inclined to do this) and learn to respect your limitations. In 2010, you benefited from the wealth and generosity of others; now you can look forward to chances to travel and further your education, plus opportunities to explore publishing, the media, medicine and the law. Whatever happens will broaden your experience of the world. By summer, early Leos will start to receive career opportunities; these will continue coming for later Leos—make the most of this.
(Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)
It has been tough for the past four or five years (let’s not sugar-coat it), but now, for the first time in your life, you get a special break. From now until 2024, Pluto will support your efforts in whatever you want to do. (It’s like having Darth Vader as your personal bodyguard.) This will empower you enormously. Exercise, yoga or sports will accelerate and maximize your improvement. If you express your ambition, it will embolden you and increase your self-confidence; this, in turn, will bring increased respect from others. It will help you relate to people with clarity and effectiveness, so accept this blessing. Partnerships and close friendships will improve this year. Think of new ways to earn money: Mentally “try on” jobs as if you were shopping for a new winter coat.
(Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)
This is a significant time in your life. You are embarking on a journey of redefining who you are in the world— it will take about seven years. This is why you have given up and let go of so much since 2007. Over the past few years, major changes have taken place at home, especially for those born in September. October Libras will feel these changes unfolding in the next decade. Opportunities to improve your job continue, but as 2011 progresses, partnerships will benefit and delight you in surprising new ways. Be flexible about your image and your appearance. Many of you will change your daily wardrobe and the game face you present to the world. Libras under 40 are beginning a new journey: Get ready to create the new you.
(Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)
Two planets now urge you to escape on an exotic vacation. You need adventure and want to play. You want to indulge in love affairs, romantic weekends and little getaways, as well as explore the delights of movies, the theatre, sports and the entertainment world. You want fun! Naturally, this enthusiasm attracts others to you. Part of the reason you demand that life be entertaining is because, elsewhere in your life, you are beginning to give up a lot. You’re outgrowing people, relationships, jobs and places. Old haunts and patterns just don’t do it for you anymore. Don’t think of this as a time of loss. Au contraire: It’s a time of streamlining and leaving behind what is no longer relevant in your life. Let the deadwood go, and take a walk on the wild side.
(Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)
Even though you’re the world traveller of the zodiac, you like your home. How reassuring to know that this is a wonderful time for home, family and domestic matters. It has been for several months and will continue to be so until spring. Take note: In astrology, when things are good for home and family, they are likewise good for real-estate deals. Real estate continues to be very profitable—all through the summer— for those born in late December. Sudden and unexpected boons, gifts, deals and opportunities to improve your home, as well as your family relationships, abound now. Modernize your world: Buy technology or install a new kitchen or bathroom— you’ll love it! Once this is out of the way, romance, love affairs, vacations, parties and fun await you. (You always do it big.)
