I love when people make me smoothies (and dinner and cocktails and cheese plates and … you get the idea.) But I’ve always shied away from DIY smoothies because a) the effort and b) I didn’t know how to make them actually healthy/filling/tasty. 

Enter Emma Knight, co-founder of Greenhouse Juice Co. She popped by the ELLE Canada office to teach me about all the good stuff that needs to go in these beverages. We made a delish Dark Cherry Berry Smoothie Bowl. (For the uninitiated, smoothie bowls are more viscous than regular smoothies; you eat them with a spoon so it tricks your brain into making you feel fuller.)
