I love when people make me smoothies (and dinner and cocktails and cheese plates and ... you get the idea.) But I've always shied away from DIY smoothies because a) the effort and b) I didn't know how to make them actually healthy/filling/tasty.
Enter Emma Knight, co-founder of Greenhouse Juice Co. She popped by the ELLE Canada office to teach me about all the good stuff that needs to go in these beverages. We made a delish Dark Cherry Berry Smoothie Bowl. (For the uninitiated, smoothie bowls are more viscous than regular smoothies; you eat them with a spoon so it tricks your brain into making you feel fuller.)
