I moved to Toronto on a freezing Sunday morning in February and the very first thing I did was wait in line for 45 minutes to go for brunch. “You see, brunch is an INSTITUTION in Toronto,” my friend explained to me as we took the subway to the other side of the city to try the pancake joint she had been eyeing. “It’s something you have to do.”

In honour of the six’s sacred Sunday spread we rounded up 10 of the best places in the city to grab a stack of pancakes, and numerous other brunch items while you’re at it.
