I’ve learned over the years that making grand sweeping resolutions is probably a bust. My list last year included learning two languages. Those were probably the least lofty goals. I realized—rather painfully at the end of December—that I accomplished none of the resolutions.
Not one. This year, I will do better by injecting my intentions with a bit of reality. So my resolution this year is simple: to drink green juice, basically every morning. Stay with me here: There is big-picture logic to this simple plan. In one glass of grassy goodness, I can check a lot of boxes: be more healthy, eat out less, find out what the hell Kombucha is, use the expensive blender I own, be more like Gwyneth Paltrow, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
and Gucci Westman. All that in 5 minutes! Boom. Genius.
