The Toronto Raptors have been far from home and their respective families for the past month, staying in Orlando in preparation to commence the NBA playoff series and defend their champion title. In a heartwarming and tender moment ahead of round one, game one against the Brooklyn Nets last night, some players’ family members introduced them via video. If you haven’t seen it on social media yet, we’d recommend keeping tissues on standby.

Our personal fave part is Karter and Kameron Lowry introducing their dad, Kyle “L-L-L-L-Lowry!” Other players introduced include Marc Gasol, Pascal Siakam, Og Anunoby and Fred VanVleet.

The Raptors had more reasons to smile last night, getting to witness an epic virtual performance of ‘O Canada’ by Jessie Reyez from the top of the CN Tower as well as beating the Nets 134-110.
