Serena Williams has decided to debut her engagement ring on Instagram and well, it’s not quite what we expected. 

The tennis superstar made things official with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian over the holiday break. After the news broke, paparazzi photos emerged of Williams sporting a simple band on her ring finger which everyone assumed was her engagement ring. 

Not so fast, says Serena. In fact, she took to her Insta account to share what she calls a “sneak peek” of her bridal bling with her followers, and well…here’s the picture she posted.
