There’s a new royal baby on the way.

Princess Eugenie announced she is expecting her first child with husband Jack Brooksbank by posting a photo of a pair of bear slippers on her Instagram with the caption, “Jack and I are so excited for early 2021….đŸ‘¶đŸ»”

In case your recall of who’s who in the British monarchy is fuzzy, Princess Eugenie of York is the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, which makes her cousins with Prince William and Prince Harry. You may remember that her older sister, Princess Beatrice of York, got married in a small ceremony this summer.

Naturally, Buckingham Palace also released a statement: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021. The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news.”

Eugenie and Brooksbank wed in 2018 and celebrated 10 years together in April. Eugenie marked the occasion with an Instagram post: “If anyone has an anniversary this week, if you are together or not because of this challenging time, if you are a frontline worker wishing to tell your person you love them, then please do send me a photo and message via DM of how you are celebrating and I will share your messages on my story over the next few days.
