As he tells Forces TV in a new interview, the 32 year old royal used to experience intense anxiety anytime he was in “a suit and tie” in a room full of people. (So a lot of the time, given that’s like the number one item on a working royal’s job description).

“I was pouring with sweat, heart beating boom-boom-boom,” said Harry, likening his panic attacks to being “in a washing machine”.

He says that anxiety was directly linked to not dealing with the trauma of his mother’s death years earlier, and has elsewhere credited his old brother William with encouraging him to get professional help.
