It’s the beginning of the end of an era for Harry and Meghan: the couple have officially begun their unofficial royal farewell tour, kicking things off today with an appearance at the Endeavour Fund Awards at London’s Mansion House.
Today marks their first public engagement together since January, when they went to Canada House, where the High Commissioner for Canada in the United Kingdom resides in London, shortly before announcing their royal exit. For the Endeavour Awards, Meghan reportedly flew in from Canada to meet Harry, who has recently been making some public appearances solo in the U.K.
Meghan wore a bright blue, short-sleeved Victoria Beckham dress and Manolo Blahnik heels to the Endeavour Fund Awards . (Get the details on every outfit Meghan Markle has worn for a public event in 2020, here.) It was pouring rain, but Harry helpfully shielded them both with an umbrella.
Meghan and Harry will be making their official departure from the Crown on March 31, but before that, they have a few more public appearances scheduled. According to the Guardian, their final U.K. engagement will on Monday at Westminster Abbey, where they will join the Queen and other senior royals for Commonwealth Day.
