If you need a little assurance that romance is indeed alive and well, look no further than Meghan Markle. 

In a sneak peek on People from upcoming HBO documentary about the royal family, Queen of the World, the Duchess of Sussex gets personal about her gorgeous Givenchy wedding gown. Looking at her dress for the first time since the May nuptials to Prince Harry, Meghan revealed that her “something blue” was actually a piece of blue fabric stitched into the gown. 

And that piece of fabric holds a very special meaning: “It’s fabric from the dress that I wore on our first date,” Meghan tells the interviewer. 

“That’s about the most romantic thing I’ve ever heard,” the interviewer replies. 

We can’t help but agree.
