The Duchess of Sussex’s mother, Doria Ragland, may be moving across the Atlantic, according to the Daily Express. The paper adds that Ragland is likely making the move to London to be closer to her daughter.

“I think this has been coming for a while,” a source described as a close friend told the Express. “Even before the wedding she told me how she misses her Megs so much she would do anything to be closer to her, especially now Meghan will be starting a family of her own.”

The move could be happening as soon as next month, just in time to celebrate Ragland’s 62nd birthday, the report says. Ragland, who is a social worker, is also said to have been impressed by the royal family after meeting them in May.

According to the source, Ragland “also fell in love with England and told me when she got back that it’s somewhere she believes she too could happily live.”
