We still don’t know the little HRH’s name, but Prince William and Duchess Kate have introduced him to the world. As tradition follows, the happy couple posed for a family photo with their newborn outside the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital in West London before heading home—just a few hours after Kate gave birth this morning

Welcome to the family. Thank you everyone for your kind wishes.

Both Prince George and Princess Charlotte made their international debuts in front of the Lindo Wing after their births in 2013 and 2015 respectively. Princes William and Harry were also born at the hospital.

The baby prince, who’s now fifth in line to the throne, arrived at 11:01 a.m. London time this morning, weighing 8 lbs., 7 ounces. Thanks to changes in legislation, it’s the first time in the history of the British monarchy that a boy will not move ahead of his older sister in the line of succession.

Kate wore a red Jenny Packham dress for the occasion. The Duchess has actually worn Packham designs for each of her post-birth appearances.
