You know the ‘off the shoulder’ trend has reached official ubiquitous status when even that bastion of preppy conservatism, Kate Middleton herself, takes the look for a spin. 

And scandal of scandals, not only did the DoC show a little collar bone at an event last night, but her cream dress was decidedly slinky, and we’re willing to wager those are the highest heels La Mid has ever worn out and about on royal duties. (Poor LK Bennet nude pumps are probably sulking so hard RN). 

The dress also marks a new designer for Kate’s closet – Barbara Casasola, a red carpet fave. Also: Kate’s ‘Tribal’ dress is still available on net-a-porter if you have a few thou to spend on a frock for the next time you too present a museum achievement award.
