For everyone mourning the fact that nobody dresses up for the cinema anymore (loosely affiliated with those who decry the loss of style in airline travel) here’s a bit of good news on a Monday morning: The Duchess of Cambridge has not let down the side!

Her Kate Middletonship attended the premiere of Shaun the Sheep: The Farmers’ Lllamas in a vaguely extraterrestrial themed dress by British designer Tabitha Webb, which was blue with the requisitie princess-appropriate elbow length sleeves and sensible hemline.

Stepping out for a sort-of date night with her husband (Harry was there third-wheeling as usual), the pair took in the animated kids comedy, presumably vetting the film for the two Cambridges maybe more in line with its intended audience.

PS. KATE’S DRESS IS STILL AVAILABLE TO BUY. (For approximately $750 CAD).
