Jennifer Lopez has been busy making hilarious viral TikToks and generously donating money to fans during quarantine. However, she recently confirmed to Ellen DeGeneres in a video interview that an at-home, virtual wedding to fiancé Alex Rodriguez is not in the works.

JLo explained that the COVID-19 pandemic has put a hold on her wedding plans.”We will see what happens now,” she told DeGeneres. “Honestly, I really don’t know what’s going to happen now as far as dates or anything like that. We’re just kind of in a holding pattern like the rest of the world. So, again, it’s something we’re just going to have to wait and see in a few months how this all pans out.”

Ellen suggested that considering the popularity of their “Flip the Switch” video, JLo and A-Rod should carry out their nuptials on TikTok. “Do a TikTok wedding?” Lopez laughed. “Something to think about. We can’t make any commitments right now.”

The couple got engaged back in March 2019 and are currently spending time at home with Lopez’s 12-year-old twins, Emme and Max, from her marriage to singer Marc Anthony, along with Rodriguez’s daughters, Natasha, 15, and Ella, 11, from his marriage to Cynthia Scurtis.

For JLo, quarantine coincides with planned time-off. “I have to say, I’ve been so on the run for the past few years that it’s nice to be home” she said. “I had planned to take a little bit of time off after the whole Super Bowl thing and World of Dance that I just finished filming a few weeks ago, so it’s been nice so far.” And let’s not forget her show-stopping Versace moment and her buzzy, critically acclaimed role as stripper Ramona in Hustlers.
