Stepping out for their very first official walkabout (just days after their engagement was announced, because why not) Meghan and Harry twinned in matching navy long-coats. A surprise twist was Harry’s rather chic looking cream scarf, which we’re definitely putting down to that thing where men who have stylish wives start to dress better, a.k.a. Meghan has def been giving his wardrobe a tweak here and there, for the better.

The pair were in Nottingham—apparently a city close to Harry’s heart, and where he’s done a lot of work with youth in the community—and hauled a sizeable amount of flowers, chocolate and cards from the crowds gathered to see them.

According to people on the ground, Meghan seemed very relaxed and smiley, and even handed back a lost glove she found on the ground, which shows she hasn’t lost touch with her nice Canadian side. She also kept the true north love alive with her coat choice—it’s by Mackage—but added a British touch with a purse by UK brand Strathberry.
