Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery "devastated" after fiance's death
We're so sorry for your loss!
In some terribly sad news, Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery’s fiance has passed away due to a rare form of cancer.
The Brit, who plays Lady Mary on the hit show, had been in the US promoting the show’s final season, and flew back to be with her fiance, John Dineen, in his final days.
The pair—who got engaged earlier this year after dating for about a year—were actually introduced by Dockery’s Downton co-star Allen Leech (aka Tom), who had known the Irish Dineen for years.
Our hearts are with Michelle and all the family in this awful time.
