Somehow we blinked and Princess Charlotte is old enough to go to preschool, guys, and we’d feel sad about the sands passing through the hourglass of time if she didn’t look so stinkin’ cute and ready to take on the big, wide world of early education.

The pictures here were snapped just this morning—by Kate herself—as Charlotte headed off Willcocks Nursery School in London and released by Kensington Palace to mark the occasion.

Fun fact: The two year old’s tuition at this private school costs nearly $24,000 a year. And I mean, who can put a price on mastering circle time?
