Most newlyweds would be on lounging on a beach or sightseeing while getting some much needed R&R on their honeymoon—but then again Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aren’t your typical newlyweds.

Just two days after their wedding, the newly named Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended their first official engagement as a married couple. The occasion? A garden party celebrating Prince Charles’ upcoming 70th birthday (he hits the milestone in November) and his patronages. About 6,000 guests, all connected to the prince’s charities and military associations, were invited to the Buckingham Palace gardens for tea and sandwiches.

For the event—Meghan’s first royal garden party—the former actress donned a blush pink dress with sheer sleeves by British brand Goat and a chic Philip Treacy hat.
