Meghan Markle always has her mom’s support!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were joined by Meghan’s mom Doria Ragland at a royal event in London today, her first time joining the couple in public since their wedding in May. 

Meghan hosted her first palace lunch today to celebrate the publication of Together, the cookbook she helped create with the women of Hubb Community Kitchen who were affected by the Grenfell Tower fire last year.

For the occasion, Meghan wore a bright blue coat by Smyth with a black top by Tuxe and a pleated skirt by Misha Nonoo.

 

 

People reports that Meghan helped the women from the communal kitchen turn koftas on a grill under a tent on the Kensington Palace grounds and introduced her mom to them.

The duchess also gave a speech, according to the mag, saying: “I had just recently moved to London and I felt so immediately embraced by the women of the kitchen.”
