If like so many, you expected Ariana Grande to walk down the aisle in a tulle-festooned princess gown, the newly published photographs from her mid-May wedding will surprise you. In an intimate ceremony held at her own home in Montecito, California, the singer married Dalton Gomez, a real estate agent who she began dating in early 2020.

The decision was apparently made at a Met Gala several years ago, with Vera Wang promising Grande that she would one day create the singer’s wedding day dress. The custom gown comprised of an empire waist column silhouette, a sculpted neckline giving way to an exposed bra-strap and plunging back, styled to perfection by Mimi Cuttrell. Like Hepburn’s character Jo Stockton, Grande wore a shorter veil topped with a crisp satin bow.

For her soft half-up half-down hair she tapped hairstylist Josh Lui, while her soft winged shadow and liner were created by makeup artist Ash K Holm.
Her groom, Gomez, wore a Tom Ford suit to marry his beloved. Grande was escorted down the aisle by her mother Joan Grande and father Ed Butera.
