Amal Alamuddin, while on a whirlwind break from changing the world, saving lives, and generally “making a difference”, popped by a red carpet premiere, and stole the show. What else is new?

Wearing a deep marigold frock by Maison Martin Margiela, the human rights lawyer walked the carpet at the Tokyo premiere of Tomorrowland. She also made a convincing case for the return of the “half-up, half down” formal ‘do, which looks very un-middle school when paired with the high neckline and orchid embellishment. 

Some guy named George Clooney was also there.
