9 decor items to turn your home into a cozy retreat

First, the bad news: Winter has — technically — only just begun. To make the next two or three or four months (sigh) a little easier on your poor, shivering self, why not turn your home into the luxury winter retreat you’ve always dreamed of? Look for sumptuous textures — from wool to faux fur — in warm, muted neutrals; surround yourself with candles (even better if they’re scented); and then add some rich bronze accessories to balance out all that coziness. We can’t tell you to stay inside until April, but we wouldn’t blame you if you did.
