COS has commissioned contemporary Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto to create an installation inspired by its spring 2016 collection. Titled “Forest of Light,” the immersive installation explores the shifting nature of light through towering, cone-shaped beams designed to respond to visitors’ movements. It’s housed in the Cinema Arti in Milan’s San Babila district, a  derelict former theatre that served as further inspiration for the installation. “The COS pavilion is the purest realization of the forest concept. This forest is not static, but light and people interact with one another, this interaction connects fashion, space and forest as a form of architecture,” said Sou Fujimoto of the installation.
