1. All beige everything
The ’90s staple is back, but it feels more Yeezy Season 6 than Frasier Crane’s penthouse. (Google it.) The key to keeping it modern? Neutral furniture in black, white and grey.
2. Celebrity designers
Furniture collabs are the new fashion collabs. Ikea has upcoming launches with Saint Heron, Adidas and Virgil Abloh, and currently in stores are CB2 x Fred Segal and Aerin Lauder x Williams Sonoma, to name a few.
3. Colour can be a neutral
“I’m not one for a pop of colour. I use it in a way that makes it feel like part of the space; it becomes a neutral backdrop. I recently finished a project where I did all the walls in pink suede—the pink became the neutral,” says interior designer Ryan Korban.
4. Natural material
Bring the outdoors in with beachy pieces like rattan light fixtures, sisal rugs and natural wall coverings
