You’re at World MasterCard Fashion Week and you’re in desperate need of a blowout, a manicure and/or some Zen time – where do you go? All week we’ll be sharing nail bars, salons and spas within easy walking/Uber-ing distance from David Pecaut Square.
Waxon
Waxbar 120 Adelaide Street West, Unit R11
Walking distance from David Pecaut Square: 8 minutes
Uber-ing distance from David Pecaut Square: 4 minutes Am I the only one that finds it entirely impossible to keep waxing appointments that are booked more than a week in advance? Even when I reschedule three times because of last-minute meetings (sorry!), Waxon Waxbar manages to fit me in (thank you!). Services are done with a mixture of hard and soft waxes, which is great for use on sensitive skin and getting those super short hairs, respectively. They are also incredibly efficient: the "Waxologist" stays in the room the entire treatment, so no time is spared entering and exiting. And if you are the type to schedule in advance? Waxon is happy to do that too.
