Life (or the need for a manicure) doesn’t start at 10 a.m., when most shops open. Enter Beauty Underground, a high-concept shopping zone on the concourse level in Hudson’s Bay on Queen Street in Toronto. It opens at 7 a.m. – a.k.a. the only time not permanently locked down in our iCal. You’ll find a mix of beloved beauty brands and under-the-radar exclusives, like Teeez, a Dutch import inspired by international catwalks, or HIF, a high-performance line that treats your hair as gently as if it were custom couture. The on-site Ten Spot offers treatments such as manicures, waxing and facials, or you can have a mascara custom blended at the lash station.
