1. Skin

Pollutants can cause age-accelerating inflammation, so Dermalogica put a meshlike layer of red algae and tara-fruit extract in its new Daily Superfoliant to prevent said pollutants from settling in pores. Activated charcoal binds to and removes any particulate matter (think microscopic impurities in the air) from lingering on the skin.

2. Hair

Like skin, hair can absorb free radicals that cause oxidative damage, making shiny strands dull. Herbal Essences has reformulated its entire line of shampoos and conditioners to include histidine—a natural antioxidant found in the bulb of the hair that depletes as soon as it emerges from the scalp. Our pick: the volumizing Arabica Coffee Fruit Shampoo.

3. Eyes

Caudalie is patenting the combination of grape-seed polyphenols and spruce extract that is already the basis for its new VineActiv line. These antioxidants protect cells from pollutants, which stress and age skin. The fragrance-free lotion also comes in a tube (as opposed to a jar), so it requires fewer preservatives.
