Ever wonder what an international model’s beauty routine is really like? We visited Texas to catch up with top model and Estée Lauder global brand ambassador Iman Hammam. Read on for her well-being and nighttime beauty rituals plus her must-have products for glowing skin.

Can you describe your ideal evening?

“At home, in pyjamas, with friends. We eat hamburgers and play board games.”

When you take a late flight for work, what do you do to make sure you look rested when you reach your destination?

“I have a whole skincare routine for the airplane because hydration is key. I’m a fan of masks—especially individually wrapped sheet masks that are easy to carry around in my travel kit. My favourite is Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery PowerFoil Mask. It’s a small luxury that makes all the difference to my skin’s recovery from the dry cabin air and jet lag. Once I’ve removed the mask, I massage the excess product using a Gua Sha roller to energize my skin and I apply an eye contour cream formulated to target dark circles.”

What’s your nighttime beauty routine?

“I remove my makeup with a rich cleansing balm that I massage over dry skin. Then I add water to rinse, and it turns into a cleansing milk that dissolves makeup. To get rid of any remaining impurities, I finish with an essence that tones and soothes my skin at the same time. My must-have is the Advanced Night Repair serum, which boosts skin’s hydration. Ever since I started using it, my skin has transformed; my complexion is radiant.”

Any other beauty secrets?

“I try to sleep at least seven hours a night. And as my family background is Moroccan-Egyptian, I also use traditional natural skincare products passed on to me by my mother, such as argan oil, which I use to hydrate my skin and hair. I also make my own hair masks.”

How do you relax before bed?

“I create a soothing ambience by lighting candles and putting on music. I listen to prayers and have a relaxation playlist. I shower, read and drink tea. If I can’t fall asleep, I meditate and watch Seinfeld.”
