An Influencer Skincare Line Worth Adding to Your Shelf
Youtube and TikTok sensation Hyram Yarbro’s much-anticipated skincare line, Selfless by Hyram, has finally dropped and it’s everything we expected from the skinfluencer (hey, 12 million followers is nothing to scoff at!). Developed in collaboration with U.K skincare brand The Inkey List, each product is formulated to offer maximum results with minimum irritation. The initial offerings include a hydrating green tea-spiked cleanser, a niacinamide-infused protective moisturizer and a range of exfoliating and reparative serums. Plus, every product purchased contributes towards the brand’s environmental initiatives, run in partnership with Rainforest Trust and youth-activated water charity Thirst Project. Consider us sold.

A Haircare Line Dedicated to Texture
Luxury hair care brand Kérastase’s latest Curl Manifesto is a seven-piece collection formulated to strengthen, protect and nourish curls of all kinds, from loose waves to tight coils. The line, co-developed with scientists, curl experts and curly-haired individuals, stars ingredients like manuka honey from New Zealand to lock in moisture, ceramides to fortify strands, and glycerin to add definition and boost shine. In addition to the launch, the brand is increasing curl education in Kérastase salons and providing freely accessible online learning tools, such as lab videos, curly hair tutorials, and a curl terminology glossary.

A Lotion That Makes Waves
Just in time for World Ocean Day, luxury beauty brand La Mer has unveiled its limited-edition Blue Heart Crème de la Mer. Every June, the cult favourite cream – made with miracle broth, an anti-inflammatory complex inspired by the sea – is re-released in an artfully designed vessel to raise awareness of its Blue Heart Fund, dedicated to supporting ocean conservation initiatives worldwide. And here’s some great news: By 2025, La Mer aims to have 75 percent of all packaging made from recycled, reusable, refillable or recoverable materials.

A Skincare-Infused Blush
Okay, so it technically launched July 1st, but we couldn’t wait to talk about Drunk Elephant’s latest drop: O-Bloos Rosi Drops. Inspired by brand founder Tiffany Masterson’s mother’s love of blush, these buildable drops contain sappanwood bark – a vegan pigment – to create a radiant flush, while essential fatty acids and antioxidant-rich white tea support the skin. Mix a few drops into your skincare for an all-over rosy flush.

A Delightful Summer Scent
You’d be hard-pressed to find a beauty lover that isn’t obsessed with French brand Nuxe’s Huile Prodigieuse, and for good reason: it’s nothing short of divine. And each iteration of the cult dry body oil has the same thing in common: they all smell unbelievable. Now, Nuxe has bottled the addictive notes of Prodigieux Floral (magnolia blooms, fresh grapefruit and musk) in an eau de parfum. Pro tip: spritz Nuxe Prodigieux Floral directly after applying your body oil for extended longevity and sillage.
$70
A Long-Wear Matte Lipstick
For matte lips that are decidedly not dry, opt for a formula loaded with hydrating ingredients, like the new Matte, Naturally Liquid Lipstick by Kjaer Weis. Made with organic cold-pressed jojoba, sunflower and castor seed oils along with hyaluronic acid, the formula glides on with ease and is available in six flattering shades, each housed in a refillable vessel.

A Skin-Softening Deodorant
Whether you’re making the switch to natural deodorant or you’re a longtime fan, L’Occitane The Incredible Deodorant in Shea Butter is a must-have for fresh underarms. It’s made with sustainably sourced shea butter from Burkina Faso to leave the skin petal soft while protecting against sweat.

A Buildable Blush
TikTok-famous makeup brand Freck Beauty just launched three new shades of its multitasking tint, Cheekslime Lip + Cheek Tint. Now available in Jam Sesh (a deep, juicy berry), Fielding (a soft rust tone) and Cuffed (a subtle pink), these adorable tubes dispense a fluid pigment that dries down quickly and stays put all day. PS: A little goes a long way, so use sparingly to get a soft flush.
$29
A Collagen-Infused Body Wash
Top skincare ingredients are making their way into the shower, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. Welcome Olay Cleansing & Firming Body Wash to your body care routine: it contains collagen to support a firmer, bouncier skin tone. Looking for a radiance boost? Try the vitamin-C infused formula, or, if extra hydration is what you seek, the hyaluronic-acid loaded Cleansing & Nourishing Body Wash is sure to please.
$13
A Stress-Busting Serum
Stress doesn’t just come from within: environmental stressors such as pollution, smoke, and climate change wreak havoc on the skin barrier and can diminish its natural defense mechanisms, leading to a dull complexion and fragile skin. That’s why Vichy developed the new Minéral 89 Probiotic Fractions: a restorative serum that blends Vichy’s signature mineral-rich volcanic water with protective niacinamide and probiotic fractions, to repair and correct signs of stress on the skin for a more luminous appearance.
$50
An Accessible Period Care Line
New Canadian period care brand Joni is calling for period equity and body care agency for all. These biodegradable organic bamboo pads and liners feature a comfortable-to-wear, gender-neutral design, and are available at an accessible price point. Most importantly, the brand offers free shipping across Canada at no minimum cost, meaning those who don’t have the luxury of living next to a drugstore have better access to period care. In addition, products are packaged in flat boxes to avoid additional shipping costs, making it easier to get to remote communities, where a box of tampons could cost up to $45.

An Eco-Friendly Way to Try Before You Buy

REN Clean Skincare has developed an alternative to sampling sachets in an effort to reduce waste. This month, the brand – which plans to be zero waste by the end of the year – unveiled their new recyclable sampling tubes, made with 95 percent PCR and 5 percent PIR recycled aluminum. The new tubes feature a re-closable nozzle, bypassing the need for tamper seals and notoriously difficult-to-recycle plastic caps. “There is no silver bullet with recycling, so we have implemented various solutions to meet our Zero Waste pledge,” says Arnaud Meysselle, CEO of REN. “We are committed to using these new tubes to reduce plastic waste and hope to encourage other beauty brands to rethink their sample packaging with the planet in mind.”
A Polish Lineup That’s Pure Joy
Summer is officially here, and what better way to celebrate than with a sunny mani? Say hello to the new OPI Malibu Collection, which features a range of vibrant and shimmering shades that suit every warm-weather occasion. Whether you’re partial to yellow hues (see: Marigolden Hour), fond of pastel blue, or all about neutrals (we love Cliffside Karaoke, a creamy chocolate brown shade), this eye-catching collection has something for everyone.

A Total Skin Reset
Give your skin an overnight boost with Okoko’s latest, the Delice Mask. The gel-cream night mask includes encapsulated forms of line-smoothing retinol and skin-balancing niacinamide as well as calming blue tansy, brightening peptides, and dragon’s blood extract: a firming, antioxidant-rich ingredient derived from the Croton Lechleri tree. Best of all, this mask creates a protective barrier over the skin, allowing all the good ingredients to soak in while you sleep.
$150
A Sculpting Body Duo
French cult skincare brand Biologique Recherche has just launched two body creams, designed to tone, smooth and firm the skin. Crème Matricielle helps to increase firmness by 13 percent in 28 days flat and has a lovely silky texture that is easy to massage into the skin (key if you want to maximize results), while Liposculpt AC includes ingredients with lipolytic properties to promote the breakdown of fat cells. For best results, the brand recommends pairing the creams with its exfoliating Lotion P50 Corps and Body Glove. Not sure how to get your hands on Biologique Recherche? Check out our handy guide here.

A Body Care Collection From Alicia Keys
Transform your body care routine inside and out with the latest expansion to Alicia Keys’ derm-developed skincare label, Keys Soulcare. The new body lineup includes three restorative products: Renewing Body + Hand Wash, a manuka honey, shea and cocoa butter-infused cleanser; Rich Nourishing Body Cream, a thick hydrator made with soothing ceramides and oats, and Sacred Body Oil, a lightweight blend of marula, baobab, and jojoba oils.

An Eye Cream for Your Face
Ever used an eye cream so good you wanted to apply it everywhere? Enter celeb makeup artist Victoria Radford’s Radford Beauty Eye, a multipurpose eye cream that treats fine lines and dehydration while improving elasticity. The rich formula relies on micro-emulsion technology to penetrate into the skin and target delicate areas (such as the eye) – to increase absorption and efficacy. Plus, the larger-than-average tube is perfect for all-over application. Hydrate accordingly.

A Solution for Hot Sleepers
Is summer weather putting a damper on your beauty sleep? You’re not the only one. That’s why made-in-Canada sleep brand Simba developed a collection of mattresses, pillows and duvets specifically designed to improve airflow for a cool, comfortable rest. From antimicrobial pillows (pair it with a silk pillowcase and your hair and skin are set), to temperature-regulating duvets and truly breathable mattresses, it’s safe to say this bed set will have you blissfully snoozing through the heat all summer long.
From $199
A Protective Spray Made for Extensions
If you’ve spent your time in lockdown growing out your hair, or you’re in the market for extensions (perhaps to cover-up one too many at-home trims?), take care of your lengths with Matrix Length Goals Extensions Perfector Multi-Benefit Styling Spray. Its moisturizing formula reduces detangling and cuts styling time in half, preventing unnecessary breakage. Plus, it protects hair from heat up to 450 degrees – an essential if you’re fond of heating tools.
$25
A Blue Light-Blocking Mist
Prolonged exposure to blue light (the kind that’s emitted from your computer and phone screens) can have negative effects on the skin, which is why keeping a protective mist on hand, like the Omy Blue Light Mist, is an absolute must. It includes protective antioxidants to shield the skin from dust and pollution, while a layer of hydration keeps your skin dewy and fresh. Plus, it has an addictive natural green tea scent that will have you misting all day long.
