Coty shows off new fragrances in a star-studded film fest event.

By Jennifer Weatherhead When I got the invite to attend Coty’s fall preview in the midst of TIFF, I didn’t have to think twice about it. Fragrance is one of my vices — pretty scents, pretty bottles — what more could you ask for? And when they mentioned that celebs would be in the mix including cutie Emma Roberts and funny-man-of-the-moment Zach Galifianakis, I sent my RSVP off faster than one could imagine. The event was a laid back affair at Brassaii on King West, with the new lines of fragrances on display to test and admire, while guests mingled and nibbled on chicken and beef skewer apps. A big hit was the Balenciaga black and white set — complete with a body scrub, body cream and a stunning purse spray (more on that in tomorrow’s post). Marc Jacobs’ Bang fragrance was also a big draw for the guys in the crowd with its bold peppercorn scent.
Note to self … buy that scent for the bf for Christmas.
Another note to self … drop hints to the bf that the Balenciaga set would be a nice gift.
