You can count on the fashion capital of the world to BRING IT when it comes to OTT beauty, but also when it comes to driving some of the key hair and makeup trends of the season. We did see some amazing hair accessories in New York and Milan, (see, Prada) but some of the most exciting news has been in adornments on the face, ears and hair. At Chanel, hair pro Sam McKnight created low ponytails with side parts, sideburns and ribboned headbands. Twists were secured with gold metal barrettes.for texture, pinning it up loosely, and tying on a black satin ribbon as a headband.

At Stella McCartney, the focus on the face lifted toward the top of the ear (the new erogenous zone, perhaps?!) with a single, charcoal pearl.
