Move over,
lips. You’ve had your time in the sun, but there’s no mistaking it: eyeliner is ruling New York Fashion Week Fall 2014. Let us count the 10 different ways the top makeup artists used liner this week. 1. At Marc by Marc Jacobs (above), Dick Page experimented with winged out, glam eyeliner, but settled on a closely-rimmed line of
black pencil to follow the shape of the models’ eyes.

2. At Jason Wu, Diane Kendal skipped eyeshadow and painted a thin stripe of
Lancôme’s Artliner 24H Bold Color Precision Eyeliner in Black Diamond
. 3. At Rag & Bone, Revlon’s Gucci Westman used three
different eyeliners to create a thick, straight line that finishes above the lash line.

lower lashes exclusively, focusing on the outer corners of the eye.

At Karen Walker (above), makeup artist Benjamin Puckey created thick and exaggerated ’60s eyeliner sing Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetic Colour Pencil in shade Tarred. 7. At Zac Posen, lead artist Kabuki for MAC conceived a feathered, graphic eye. 8. At Marchesa, Gucci Westman went a little eccentric by painting on a hovering blue and green liner (depending on the girl).

metallic blue NARS eyeliner. We still have a few key looks on our dance card—it’s a safe bet we’ll see more in the next 24 hours until Marc Jacobs closes the week. Or is it?
