NYFW Fall 2014 beauty: Eyeliner is everywhere

lips. You’ve had your time in the sun, but there’s no mistaking it: eyeliner is ruling New York Fashion Week Fall 2014. Let us count the 10 different ways the top makeup artists used liner this week. 1. At Marc by Marc Jacobs (above), Dick Page experimented with winged out, glam eyeliner, but settled on a closely-rimmed line of
black pencil to follow the shape of the models’ eyes.

2. At Jason Wu, Diane Kendal skipped eyeshadow and painted a thin stripe of
Lancôme’s Artliner 24H Bold Color Precision Eyeliner in Black Diamond
. 3. At Rag & Bone, Revlon’s Gucci Westman used three
different eyeliners to create a thick, straight line that finishes above the lash line.
4. At Badgley Mischka (above), Tom Pecheux for MAC layered the brand’s MAC Fluidline in Black over a golden eyeshadow. 5. At Thakoon, Diane Kendal used NARS Mambo eyeliner pencil on the
lower lashes exclusively, focusing on the outer corners of the eye.
6. At Karen Walker (above), makeup artist Benjamin Puckey created thick and exaggerated ’60s eyeliner sing Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetic Colour Pencil in shade Tarred. 7. At Zac Posen, lead artist Kabuki for MAC conceived a feathered, graphic eye. 8. At Marchesa, Gucci Westman went a little eccentric by painting on a hovering blue and green liner (depending on the girl).
9. At Cushnie et Ochs (above), face painter Charlotte Tilbury for MAC used the brand’s Powerpoint Eye Pencil in Permaplum on the lash and water line. 10. At Creatures of the Wind James Kaliardos busted out
metallic blue NARS eyeliner. We still have a few key looks on our dance card—it’s a safe bet we’ll see more in the next 24 hours until Marc Jacobs closes the week. Or is it?
