The mood was described as "raw beauty" by makeup artist Diane Kendal for NARS Cosmetics at Alexander Wang. The models looked, well—a lot like the designer himself. Kendal used only four products—NARS Aqua Gel Luminous Oil-Free Moisturizer, "to give a fresh luminous quality to the skin" stick concealer to cover up any spots, brow groomer and lip balm. Less about makeup, more about "grooming."

Over at Victoria Beckham, where security was super strict and the lights were so blinding backstage
you need sunglasses (and frankly, at 7:45 on a Sunday, I could have used them), makeup artist Pat McGrath described the look as "very clean and very fresh with a little twist of colour." Blush was applied around the eyes (not cheeks) with some soft brow shadow,
nude lipstick and a drop of concealer on the lips. Skin was slightly highlighted with no mascara used. A little bit of "grooming" if brows were sparse, but otherwise left beautifully bare. Despite feeling like a zombie when I leave the house sans
mascara, this whole movement of nothingness around the eyes is pretty inspiring. Just don’t take away my concealer.
