Yes there was
Lupita in her blue Prada gown.
Jared with his mom and older brother by his side (and his never-ending
perfect ombre reign). Angelina and her dreamy glowing skin. And then there was Naomi Watts on the red carpet looking impossibly cool and regal with her red lips, flawless skin and that swept-to-the-side hair. It gave off a “I just brushed my hair like this when I stepped out of my limo” vibe, but was still polished. In my opinion, it made Naomi’s Calvin Klein Collection dress go from
meh to cool. Editorial and celebrity hair stylist, Giannandrea created the look using Macadamia Natural Oil products. “The inspiration behind Naomi’s look was Grace Kelly. I wanted that Grace Kelly elegance that Naomi possesses to shine through,” Giannandrea explained. “We wanted a little more shape for the dress so I decided to continue with the trend of
sleek, chic and straight with some height.” Here’s how to get the look.

1. Giannandrea started with a large round brush to boost volume from the roots.
2. He rolled three 1-inch sections at the front of Watt’s hair in Velcro rollers and sprayed with Control hairspray for added volume and control.
3. Giannandrea blow-dried the rest of Watts’s hair then flat-ironed down the side and all the way through for added length.
4. After letting the rollers sit, he unraveled and brush-swept hair to the side, creating a deep side part and finishing off with Control hairspray.
Would you try Naomi’s side-swept hair?
