Without having seen the spring collection — but with the knowledge that the
DUY look is chic and elegant — Denis Binet, Creative Director for hair at MFW, created a style he describes as inspired by 17th-century London, England, and a bit grandmotherly and pure. The models’
manes were teased to create a sponge-like texture and then pulled back, keeping ears covered, into a low ponytail. The resulting look is both classical and sweet.
As for
makeup, intense eyes — with a sexy, Spanish woman as the inspiration — dominated the look. Using Liquiline Exact in black, the upper lid was thickly lined, along with the outer third of the lower lash line. Lips were kept baby soft, so as to not distract from the eyes, with Cover Girl Lip Perfection in Enchantress 365, which was dabbed with powder to reduce the frostiness.
We love the dramatic eyes — would you sport this look?
