Montreal Fashion Week S/S12 Backstage Beauty: UNTTLD
To go with the edgy, avant garde (and much buzzed about) collection from
UNTTLD, Denis Binet, Pantene Consulting Stylist and Creative Director for Hair at Montreal Fashion Week, created a
hair look to appear as though the models had just come out of a swimming pool, gathering at the neck with the ends more natural and smooth.
Strong brows were the focus: "We needed something to unify the models and something that would bring structure to the face, since the collection is avant garde and structured," says Amelie Ducharme, Cover Girl Pro and Creative Director for Makeup at Montreal Fashion Week . First, she
filled in brows with Cover Girl Brow and Eye Makers. To avoid overly bold brows, Amelie suggests filling in your brows with a pencil with little upward strokes then softening the effect by using a brush. For UNTTLD, to
give the brows a bushy, natural feel, rather than drawn in, clear mascara was used to brush the brows (only the inner halves of each brow) upwards.
