Good news for Empire fans: two of our faves from the show, Taraji P. Henson and Jussie Smollett, have been named as the latest spokespeople for M.A.C Cosmetics’ Viva Glam campaign. The pair join the long list of celebs – Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Pamela Anderson and Nicki Minaj, to name a few – to rep the cause.

This is Taraji’s second collab with M.A.C this year. She released a namesake collection, which included bronzers, mascaras and a nude lipstick, in September.

“I have been using M.A.C since they came about,” Taraji told us. “That might be telling my age, but I don’t care. I always had M.A.C. The first brush that I bought, that I ever invested in – you know I was broke back in the day! I couldn’t really afford brushes like that but I would go to M.A.C and get my brushes.”

The new lipstick (a “matte fuchsia with pearl,” according to the brand’s Instagram) and a matching shimmery lipglass will hit stores in February 2017. As always, every cent will go towards women, men and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.
