Sisley-Paris Foundation For Asian Skin Tones Comes To Canada
After launching in Asia earlier this year, family-owned French company Sisley-Paris is bringing their popular cushion compact to Canada. The Phyto-Blanc Cushion Foundation ($160) was designed with Asian skin tones in mind; as such, it is only available in three shades, Opal, Pearl and Rose, all of which are quite light and suitable for fair skin tones.
The long-wearing formula has a radiant finish (it’s part of their brightening range) and uses a buckwheat seed extract paired with vitamin E to maintain the skin barrier and protect from free radicals caused by things like pollution. Despite its name, there is no traditional mesh “cushion” in the compact. Instead, it uses a plastic pump dispenser that the company says is more hygienic. (It does still come with a sponge to apply the product to skin.)
The Phyto-Blanc Cushion Foundation ($160) will be available exclusively at Holt Renfrew later this month until December, when it will also launch in the U.S.
