UPDATE: After tweeting “spilling starts today!” Rihanna has given us a first look at the products in her upcoming Fenty Beauty line. The promo video, which features models of a wide range of ethnicities, shows off a glittery, high-shine bronze-y nude gloss in silver-topped packaging. Though the product is not pictured, one of the models is also seen wearing some seriously gold eyeshadow/highlighter.
The products will be available globally at midnight PT on September 8th. If you’ve ever wanted to spend all night in a Sephora, this is your chance: some locations are hosting midnight launch parties to fete the collection.
A second promo video has model Slick Woods calling out shade names of yet-to-be-announced products in the line: Chilli Mango, Chic Freak, Hustler Baby, Yacht Life, Trophy Wife and Fire Crystal, among others. Take your guesses as to the products they’re for now.
A third video has Brazilian model Camila Costa calling out additional shade names, as well as saying “You don’t all have to be all the same, all the time.” It’s all so very Riri.
Original post: Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty line now has an official launch date. The singer announced in an Instagram post today that the much-hyped line will be available globally at Sephora on September 8, 2017, as well as at Harvey Nichols, a luxury British department store (should you find yourself in London).
Riri has been tagging the brand in Instagram photos of her red carpet appearances lately, leading us to believe she is wearing makeup from the line. The launch is still 38 days away—plenty of time to scroll through the below photos with CSIS-levels of attention and attempt to discern the types, textures and colours of products that might be in the line.
