At 83-years-old former model and Vogue creative director at-large Grace Coddington is still an iconic redhead. So who better than to endorse a shade specifically designed for people with auburn hair than her? At least, that was the thinking when beauty brand Merit approached Coddington to be the face of their latest shade, Ginger.

Merit Beauty

Merit’s Signature Lip Lightweight Lipsticks come in 16 shades and are beloved by celebrities like Jennifer Hudson, Demi Moore, Greta Lee, and Kelly Rutherford. But the brand received feedback that the collection was missing a peachy pink from the lineup. Thus, Ginger was developed with the added bonus that it’s the perfect pinky nude shade for redheads.
