Some of the OG founding members of M.A.C Cosmetics have reunited to launch a new beauty brand.

Just over two decades since leaving the brand he co-founded, Frank Toskan is teaming up with Vic Casale, a product formulator who has worked for M.A.C Cosmetics and CoverFX, to launch MOB Beauty.

The beauty industry veterans revealed the news during a Reddit AMA, sharing that consumers can expect clean, professional-grade products in a comprehensive shade range. The line will be cruelty-free and packaged sustainably.

When Toskan co-founded M.A.C alongside Frank Angelo in 1984, they brought on Casale as a product formulator. Together, they grew the brand into an industry leader, offering 50 shades of foundation for all ages, races and sexes, and launching a lipstick-tube recycling program years before they were commonplace.

The longtime friends and business partners say MOB Beauty is an idea they’ve been thinking about for 35 years. While they’ve yet to reveal details about the specific types of products they are launching, Toskan and Casale say production is already underway in their Toronto-based lab, with plans to release the brand this fall.
