French designer Isabel Marant will release her first-ever makeup collection in collaboration with L’Oréal Paris this fall. The products—five eye, cheek and lip items the brand calls  “edgy but practical”—will make their debut at Marant’s spring/summer 2019 show during Paris Fashion Week.

“I think the common ground between L’Oréal Paris and Isabel Marant lies in really giving each woman the freedom to be whoever she wants to be,” said Marant in an Instagram post.

“I’ve always interpreted fashion’s ready-to-wear literally, and I couldn’t be more thrilled at this chance to do that in makeup with an on‑the-go collection with L’Oréal Paris,” she added in a statement. “It has been a dream to get right inside makeup innovation and to offer this collection of day-into-night, natural-to-smoking makeup essentials I have always wanted.”

“This is a collaboration that’s really of the moment,” says Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou, global brand president for L’Oréal Paris. “Synonymous with Parisian elegance, Isabel Marant is one of the great self-made designers today. Absolutely true to herself and her independence, she’s the perfect partner for the brand, in our drive to make every woman around the world feel worth it.”
