Last week, Camilla Cabello celebrated the launch of her Havana makeup collection with L’Oreal Paris at an intimate event in L.A. Her look: braids with copper highlights, glowing skin and a glossy lip.

“I wanted to give Camila an effortless, bohemian-style look inspired by her colourful outfit,” says hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos. He went with two braids connected at the neckline, leaving her bangs out “to effortlessly frame her face.”

Giannetos washed Cabello’s hair and let it air dry to keep her natural texture. He then added copper-coloured extensions. Once he completed the braids and secured them with clear elastic bands, he sprayed the finished style with extra strong hold hairspray so it would last through her performance.

L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil Shampoo Conditioner ($4.99 each), L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil Treatment ($6.99), L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray Extra Strong Hold ($14.99)

“When I think of Havana the song, the makeup collection and Camila, I automatically think of glistening, sun-kissed skin and eyes that sparkle,” says makeup artist Allan Avendaño.

To begin, he applied the L’Oréal Paris Sun-Lit Bronzer in Light/Medium ($14.99) over Cabello’s entire face. He used all four of the Havana eyeshadows on her eyelids, and the shade In Love was applied like a highlighter to the high points of her face for extra luminosity. On her lips, Avendaño applied a coat of Lip Dew in shade Desnudo and then dabbed Lip Dew in the shade Lit Up in the centre of her lips.
