At a star-studded event in Los Angeles this evening, Lancôme announced Zendaya Coleman as their newest, and one of their youngest, global ambassadors.

“Zendaya brings a youthful and a unique approach to beauty that perfectly complements Lancôme’s vision and creativity,” said Françoise Lehmann, international president of the L’Oréal-owned French beauty brand, in a statement.

“It’s a huge honour to be able to represent a brand like Lancôme and join such an incredible line-up of iconic women,” said the 22-year-old California-born actress, referring to the other current faces of the brand: actresses Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet, Isabella Rossellini, Penelope Cruz, Lupita Nyong’o and Lily Collins, as well as model Taylor Hill (who is also 22 years old).

The former Disney Channel-star, who is often referred to only by her first name, has appeared in films like The Greatest Showman and Spider-Man: Homecoming and will reprise her role as MJ in Spider-Man: Far From Home, out this summer, as well as star in HBO series Euphoria later this year. She is currently working on a capsule collection of ’70s and ’80s-inspired clothing with Tommy Hilfiger.
