M.A.C Cosmetics is the latest company contributing to COVID-19 relief efforts.

Through its long-standing Viva Glam fund, the beauty brand will donate $10 million (USD) to 250 organizations that are on the frontlines helping people around the world who are at higher risk during the pandemic. Groups that will receive part of the grant include Project Food Angel, which hires out-of-work chefs and workers to cook and deliver emergency meals.

M.A.C is also asking people to get involved – from home, of course. All proceeds (yes, 100 percent) of sales from Viva Glam lipsticks will provide additional support to vulnerable communities.

“Viva Glam has never been about one cause, but about support to vulnerable communities. It was created many years ago simply as a hardship fund for people who needed safety nets,” said John Demsey, chair of the fund, in a press release. “To leverage this 100 percent giving model to help people affected by COVID-19 is a continuation of the principles Viva Glam was founded on.”

The brand also hopes that its followers will join them in sharing messages of support to those working on the frontlines on Instagram using #MACVIVAGLAM.
