Actress Anne Hathaway took to Instagram on Thursday to post a workout video and tell her followers she is gaining weight for an upcoming movie role—and that she’s not going to be phased by fat-shaming.

“I am gaining weight for a movie role and it is going well,” wrote Hathaway. “To all the people who are going to fat shame me in the upcoming months, it’s not me, it’s you. Peace xx PS- I wanted to set this to Queen’s “Fat Bottomed Girls” but copyright said [no]. Continued peace xx.”

So far, the response to her post has been extremely positive. (But it’s Instagram, so of course, there have also been a few of the anticipated haters.) Many commenters expressed how proud they were that she was gaining her weight in the gym, while others commented that there was a much easier way to do it, involving more couch and potato chip time.

While Hathaway did not mention what movie she was working on, her IMDb page says she will be starring in a live-action film called Barbie, currently in pre-production and set to be released in 2020. According to the page, the plot will involve “a doll living in ‘Barbieland’ [who] is expelled for not being perfect enough and sets off on an adventure in the real world.”
