At her first Olympics in Sochi, Tsubota crashed during the finals and suffered a concussion and fractured cheekbone. That didn't stop the now 24-year-old athlete: she was back on the slopes a week after surgery and is ready to compete in PyeongChang.

Twenty-three-year-old Dara Howell put on her first pair of skis at just 18 months old (nbd). After winning gold in Sochi, she took a break from the sport, but we're excited she's back and ready to compete in PyeongChang.
